Q: Hello, Can you let me know a little more about how the crossbars connect to the uprights? Are the uprights slotted so we can make 90 degree turns with this setup? Can you send a picture at all? Thank you!

Hello! The horizontal Crossbar pipes have a hook located at each end. This hook is placed inside any of the 4 slots (punched at 90-degree angles: "north / "south" / "east" / "west") that are located at the top of each vertical Upright pipe. Because there are four slots at the top of each Upright, you can indeed create 90-degree turns (creating systems in an "L" shape, or a boxy "U" shape, or even a fully enclosed "box") with is kit.
